Hi, I’m Mashawn!

 

I'm the co-owner of Bangs Salon and Spa in Centerville, Ohio, with the amazing Jessica Hallock. I get to work alongside 28 incredibly talented independent contractors, and doing life and industry growth with them is one of my greatest honors.

 

I’ve been behind the chair for 23 years and am so grateful for the loyal clients who have become family. I specialize in hand-tied extensions and hair loss solutions, and I deeply love education and continued growth. Over the last 7 years, my work has shifted more intentionally into extensions and hair loss—and I truly love where it’s taken me. Being part of your stories is an honor.

 

On a personal level, my faith is everything to me. Religion isn’t my jam—but Jesus is. I co-founded Strip Church Dayton, which is so close to my heart. I'm so grateful and humbled that God chooses to use me in this way, and I genuinely love our "gems".

 

Enneagram 7—people-loving, post-it-note-using, introvert-recharging chaos included. Life is messy, and I love it that way! 

 

Married to my husband Cameron for 21 years, and I'm still madly in love with him. He makes me laugh every single day. Mama to Raegan—my greatest gift and, yah'll, she's a powerhouse vocalist with the kindest heart you'll ever meet. Animals forever. Especially my Cavalier, Navey.
